By selecting for “invite more” the e-mail addresses of folks who might like to
be invited can be submitted. Or, Sally would be willing to e-mail to any
e-mail addresses suggested if those e-mail addresses are sent to her.
Sally also has a print
version of the invitation. Theresa and Gail will coordinate and mail
invitations using a compact disc of Democrat’s mailing addresses obtained from
the Cohasset Town Hall.
Thus far John Walsh, Chair
of the State Democratic Party, Michael Morrissey, candidate for Norfolk County
Attorney General, and Congressman Garrett Bradley, running for re-election have
accepted invitations to the unity party/fund raiser.
Treasurer’s Report:
The budget sub-committee, Peter,
Agnes and Donna, presented, as was voted at September’s meeting, a proposed
budget for 2010. It was projected that approximately $2500. would be
available from proceeds of the unity party/fund raiser combined with other
Committee funds to be donated immediately after the unity party/fund raiser to
the Democratic candidates for seven Massachusetts public offices: Governor, 10th
District Congressman, Norfolk Country A G, Auditor, Treasurer, Attorney General,
and candidate for re-election to the Third Plymouth District.
Discussion followed as to
how much would be donated to each office. A proposal to donate a specific
percentage of the available campaign fund to each candidate was seconded and
affirmed by vote. Seventy percent of funds raised will be split between
Governor Patrick and candidate for 10th Congressional District,
Norfolk County D A, William Keating; ten percent to Congressman Garrett Bradley
and five percent to the following: candidate for re-election Att. General
Coakley; candidate for Auditor, Suzanne Bump; Candidate for Norfolk County
District Attorney, Michael Morrissey and candidate for Treasurer, Steve
Grossman.
The budget committee will
meet the day following the unity party/fund- raiser to allocate checks to the
aforementioned campaigns.

voted in the affirmative by Committee Members present to send $100. each to the
phone banking headquarters in both Marshfield and Weymouth.

to sign and send “Dear Friend” cards in support of Bill Keating.
